Another month is almost gone. The leaves are turning late this year; as usual they are beautiful. But I haven’t managed to get out with my camera. I need to try and do that soon.
Last Saturday was the day, and what fun we had. She has always loved the movie Labyrinth with David Bowie. This year is the 30th anniversary of the release of the movie, and she wanted to celebrate it. So that was our theme for the party.
The weekend before the girls and I got together and made some masquerade masks. We made a retro eyeball tree, and rented the local Chamber of Commerce room so we could have “Dinner and a Movie”. We had curry for dinner, and purple cupcakes that Hubby and I made.
On the tables there were bowls of popcorn, and labyrinth’s for everyone to find their way through. Her grandparents were able to make it up from Florida for it, and her Great Aunt and Uncle came to town too. My son-in-law got into the spirit and dressed up, it was fantastic. We all had a wonderful time!
